Remove the ridiculous politics that are associated with youth hockey. More kids are turned away due to the parent/s that do everything from making large monetary contributions to an organizations to giving a new car to the coach. It's really sad to see some players playing above their skill level and other to either play below or not at all because of this. the associations need to see that the kids understand what is going on and need to do something to show that this type of behavior is not acceptable. Winning is not as important as teaching these kids how to play and love the game. Unless you are getting their buy in there is absolutely nothing that you are going to do to improve.
