Stars Announce College Hockey Games at AAC
The Dallas Stars are pleased to announce two college hockey games this season will be played at American Airlines Center. Texas will play Texas A&M on Sunday, November 30th, 2008 immediately following the Dallas Stars game vs. the Edmonton Oilers.
These two teams battle several times throughout the year for the Pride of Texas Cup, awarded to the team that wins the series. Click here for tickets to the Texas vs. Texas A&M game (.doc)
Also playing a game at AAC this year are Texas Tech and Oklahoma. Their game will be played on March 8, 2009, immediately following the Dallas Stars vs. Montreal Canadiens game.
All 4 collegiate teams are part of the American College Hockey Association (ACHA). This will be the first time that these 4 teams will play each other at AAC. The first collegiate game at American Airlines Center was played on December 23, 2007 when Texas Tech defeated Texas A&M 3-2.
