1. Focus on the athletes’ long term development?
2. Tailor coaching style to the unique needs and learning styles of each athlete?
3. Treat all athletes, regardless of who they are, fairly and with respect?
4. Provide a safe, fun and appropriate environment for all athletes to take part in?
5. Put the welfare of each athlete above all else?
6. Educate the athlete and the parents on all aspects of the program?
7. Maintain attention to detail when working with the athletes?
8. Give enthusiastic and constructive feedback, rather than negative criticism?
9. Act as a role model by demonstrating appropriate personal behavior at all times?
